MARSHA GROSS APRN, CNM, MSN

Certified Nurse Midwife

Marsha has over twelve years of experience in obstetrical care. During her bachelor's program at Texas Tech University, Marsha saw the effects of patient empowerment through education and support while leading prenatal classes for teenage mothers. Upon graduation with her Bachelors in Nursing, she continued to care for women and their families as a registered nurse on labor & delivery, nursery, and postpartum units in Texas and Oklahoma.  Marsha first saw midwives in action after a move to DFW brought her to work with a midwife group. These women impacted birth experiences in a way that spoke to Marsha's long held desire for patient empowerment - and she knew that her road was midwifery! Her midwifery training was completed at Frontier Nursing University where she obtained a Masters of Nursing degree. Marsha worked alongside obstetricians as a midwife for several years before opening Flourish. She enjoyed two births under the care of midwives - one at a birth center and one home birth. Marsha also loves spending time outdoors with her family, cooking, and hosting gatherings.

"My desire has always been to provide care and partnership with women through education and empowerment while serving the whole family. I am so honored to see this come to fruition at Flourish."
